We are delighted to have been part of ALSTOM’s hydrogen train project from June 17 to September 30, 2023. The experience of the first hydrogen-powered passenger train in America was extremely successful for Réseau Charlevoix, with approximately 20,000 additional boardings and a record season. More than satisfied, Nancy Belley, General Manager of Réseau Charlevoix, expressed her desire to repeat the experience in the coming years, although this will depend on decisions from the Government of Quebec due to the costs involved.

The train is no longer part of our fleet, but we are pleased to have contributed to this innovative and promising project.
